{8.22 | holy sun damage, batgirl!}

OK, there’s no sun damage. But I totally flipped my lid when I saw the little thumbnail on my camera – the orange necklace looks like a terrible burn when everything gets all shrunk down!! This is one of my favorite, easy dress patterns! The skirt looks strange in the photo…. I was leaning against the wall, which makes the skirt look uneven! I need more of these!

dress: handmade, blogged here
sweater: New York and Co – from last year sometime
necklace: vintage, Mighty Swell
bracelets: Target
shoes: Rocket Dog

    I love this look! I think this cardigan will also look foxy with your hot pink version once it’s made up. And I would like you to pair it with the orange jewels as well, because there’s nothing not to like about pink & orange.

    Hi Patty,
    This looks great on you and I like the different ways you styled it. I can hardly wait to make this one!
    In your opinion, does the skirt need to be cut on the bias since it’s made from a knit? All this time, I thought bias was used only on wovens! Is it truly a wrap dress or a faux wrap (I can’t tell from the technical drawing at Vogue’s site)? Thanks for your help!
